"Fashion Days Morocco."
Le Vinyle
Magazine had the privilege to cover the Fashion days event, that occurred in
the 21st 22nd and 23rd of March 2014 in
Sofitel Tour Blanche Casabalanca.
Morocco,
known now as the large window of all kind of arts, whatever includes music,
literature, paintings, as well as, fashion.
The Event of The Fashion Days is wildly seen as the most emerged one to
cover all Fashion talents in Morocco, gathering them for three successive
outstanding nights, filled with many surprises. Indeed, the 6th
edition of it, occurred here, in Casablanca. Clothing, mixed between tradition
and modernity, today’s society is a melting pot of colors and design wonders.
We wouldn’t
have witnessed those moments if it weren’t made and creatively created by Najia
ABADI, CO-Founder of “FCTM” & CO-Founder of “Fashion Days Morocco”.
This year’s
edition had the amazing privilege to host some of the most known figures in the
large screen, one of the greatest Moroccan actresses Mlle Asmaa Khamlichi, whom
were giving a respectable trophy for her blessed works in the movie industry,
as well as the greatest and appealing designer and fashion creators, Yahya
Bishri, Rami Salamoun ( who gave us a bit of his busy time for an exclusive
interview, briefing his youth and growth as stylist) , last but not least,
Marouan Khoury, the voice of Lebanon.
The night
of the 21st witnessed the rise of several fresh start up designers,
and one of them, had them lights all over his works, by the name of Seyf Dean, this last one had the most mesmerizing stylish
outfits, mixing between the vintage looks and the summer time of the 80’s.
Nevertheless, representing Luxembourg for the first time in a foreign country, Frédérique WOLFF a 19 years old skateboard addict and a fanatic of Nirvana, was indeed the god mother of the Fashion Days; 2013 winner of Miss Luxembourg, she delicately made the event as much appealing as it was, her bright presence and prestigious manners of elegance made it so special that it emerged more than it had in the program.
