Yes, It's true, it's Ne-Yo!
Morocco's culture association is pleased to announce the arrival of
American singer Ne-Yo during this 13th edition of Festival - Mawazine World Rhythms. Ne-Yo
will perform
Wednesday, June 4, 2014 on the stage of the OLM Souissi, Rabat.
Shaffer Chimere Smith, "Stage name Ne-yo", born October 18,
1982 (age 31),is originated from Las Vegas,Nevada, U.S. Singer–songwriter,record producer,dancer, actor,
this mutli-talented soul nailed R&B, Hip hop soul,dance for
the last 16 years.
Marques Houston got introduced to the song "That Girl" and
managed to make its own by recording it in his own album . Since then,
Ne-Yo was seen as one of the most talented songwritters that the music industry
had ever been introduced to, writting for artists such as Chritina Milian,Faith Evans and B2K. The performer recorded the number 1 hits back in
2006, “So sick”, “Sexy Love” and “When you’re mad”, who received an endless
amount of responses from clubs on the west coast.
He then released his very first album “In My Own
Words”, which sold 1 million copies.
The tour had a massive success, brought Chris
Brown and several sizes of the U.S rap.
Meanwhile, collecting rewards, Ne-yo made
regular appearances in several TV shows, before sneaking in 2008 to work on his
third album, “Year of the Gentleman”, performed with Chris Brown & Usher,
the album hit 250.000 sold copies in its first week, being the top one on the
Billboard Hot 200.
Till today, Ne-yo had been one of the most active artist, his works are quit endless, bringing up new hits and fresh promises, he today, is working on recording his sixth album, which should be called TBA. The release of this new album is planned for 2014 or 2015.
