Whole Lotta Plagia!

Led Fake Zeppelin.

You all know that music is the description of one's soul and reflects that person's creativity into some beautifully made melody and sounds. From all kinds of it, music must be the only thing for us not to try to mess up with, but, did the famous rock band and heavy metal influence Led Zeppelin, copied and pasted some of their famous hits?

The british rock band that was well known back in the 70's had a diverse kind of music, clearly developed afterwards into heavy metal. Formed in 1968, the Led was officially formed and created by Jimmy Page, born in 1944, he renamed his old band, The YardBirds and gave life to one of the most successful live bands in the history of the 70's, Led Zeppelin.

But did the icon band plagiarised their works? This is a hard question to answer from a fan, but let's be subjective here, my researches proved my scepticles right.

Music theives, if I may call them as such, 1969 was the first year for the Led to release their first album "Led Zeppelin", produced by Jimmy himself in the studios of London, United Kingdom. "You shook me all night long", "Baby i'm gonna leave you", "Good times bad times" and so on .. made a massive first appearance, a rocking one that nobody did actually cared about wether it was original or covered !

Shocked yet? Not as much as this will shook you, literarly. If we look closely, we can see the resemblence between " Stairway to heaven 1972" & "Spirit 1968" by Taurus, as well as in "Babe I'm gonna leave you 1969" & "Joan Baez's Babe I'm gonna leave you 1963"! Don't believe me? Go ahead and youtube the tracks, your mind will be certainly blown.

Still, these are not the only two copied pasted songs, there is quit a long list for you to discover..

1-Led Zeppelin "When the leeves breaks 1971" / Kankas Joy McGoy "When the leeves breaks 1929".
2-Led Zeppelin "Black Mountainside 1969" / Bert Jansch "Black Mountainside 1966".
3-Led Zeppelin "Baby I'm gonna leave you 1969" / Joan Baez "Babe i'm gonna leave you 1963"
4-Led Zeppelin "Since i've been loving you 1970" / Moby Grape "Never 1968".
5-Led Zeppelin "Mobydick 1969" / Bobby Parker "Watch your step 1961".
6-Led Zeppelin "I can't quit you baby 1969" / Otis Rush & Willie Dickson "I can't quit you baby 1956".
7-Led Zeppelin "Bring it on home 1969" / Willie Dixon "Bring it on home 1956".
8-Led Zeppelin "Nobody's fault but mine 1976" / Blind Willie Johnson "Nobody's fault but mine 1927".
9-Led Zeppelin "Dazed and confused 1969" / Jake Holmes "Dazed and confused 1968".
10-Led Zeppelin "Stairway to heaven 1972" /  Spirit "Taurus 1968".

Game changers, fantastic players and musician, they did change and made influence on the way the world is today, but why not continuing the process in an original way? Why taking some of the eldest music of all times, the funky jazzy one, add some ethentic solos and guitar bass in it and name it as your own? That is simply narrowing your work into a cover song, taking an original and play it your way, same as many are doing nowdays, but keeping the names of the originals intact!

Grab a glass of water and sit down for a bit, think deeply into what I've stated, and leave the Zeppelin's to be with the Eldests.
